We're searching for a talented Litigation Paralegal with a background in litigation or law firm experience to join a high-performing team. This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Melville, NYWhy You'll Love This Role:As a key player in a prestigious civil litigation firm, you'll be immersed in a range of impactful litigation support activities. From reviewing complex documents and preparing trial materials to collaborating with attorneys and clients, you'll be at the center of meaningful legal work.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and review critical documents such as medical, financial, and employment records.Craft detailed medical chronologies.Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files for litigation cases.Collaborate with attorneys to compile crucial evidence and case support.Manage court docket calendars and ensure deadlines are met.Coordinate with clients, opposing law firms, and courts.Conduct legal research and provide analysis on case issues.Generate reports, logs, and case indexes.Engage with clients and opposing firms through correspondence.Contribute to the success of the team through various additional duties as needed.What You'll Bring:Experience: A minimum of 2 years of litigation or casualty experience is essential.Education: A Bachelor's or Associate's degree is required, with a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program (preferred).Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
