Visual Inspection TechnicianLocation: Costa Mesa, CAOur client, a CDMO specializing in aseptic processing, sterile manufacturing, and analytical testing for pharmaceutical and biotech client, is looking to hire a Visual Inspection Technician on a short term contracting basis.This opportunity should last around 2-3 months, and would be responsible for inspecting pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves meticulous observation and documentation to identify defects and contaminants and ensure compliance with specifications.ResponsibilitiesPerforms repetitive handling of drug product containers while predominantly in a seated position, swirling and inverting containers and extending arm out in front of light source to identify product defectsEnsures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Completes visual inspection forms and reportsIdentifies and communicates product quality issuesQualificationsHS Diploma required; AS/BS degree preferredMust be able to maintain visual qualifications annually, ability to see all colors and ability to visually discern product specifications across multiple productsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenPrevious experience within FDA/USDA and/or GMP environment is preferred
