ROLE: Vimergy is a fast-growing VMS brand in the ecommerce space and we're looking for a top-notch Sr. Manager of Data and Customer Marketing Analytics to join our team. As a key member of our ecommerce team, you'll play a crucial role in building out our ecommerce platform and driving growth. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team to help bring our vision to life.The Sr. Manager of Data and Customer Marketing Analytics will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of data analytics to improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall marketing effectiveness. This role will oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to develop actionable insights that inform marketing strategies and business decisions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:SKILLS:Marketing Analytics & Performance OptimizationDevelop and implement a comprehensive data-driven marketing strategy to enhance acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts.Analyze multi-channel marketing performance (paid media, email, social, web, CRM, etc.) and provide actionable recommendations.Oversee attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling, and campaign measurement to improve ROI.Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track success.Corporate ad hoc data and category trend analysis as requiredCustomer Insights & SegmentationLead customer segmentation, behavioral analysis, and lifecycle modeling to personalize marketing efforts.Utilize predictive analytics and machine learning to forecast customer trends and improve targeting.Leverage first-party, third-party, and zero-party data to enhance customer understanding and engagement.Identify and develop strategies to optimize customer lifetime value (LTV) and reduce churn.Data Strategy & GovernanceEnsure data integrity, compliance, and security across marketing platforms and CRM systems.Define and implement best practices for data collection, integration, and governance.Drive collaboration with IT, engineering, and data science teams to improve data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementDevelop executive level reports and presentations to inform key stakeholders of category trend analysis.Communicate data-driven insights to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous experimentation.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):Marketing ROI (Return on Investment): Measure the efficiency of marketing spend across channels.Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Track the cost of acquiring new customers.Marketing Attribution Accuracy: Assess the effectiveness of attribution models in assigning credit to various marketing touchpoints.Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Measure improvements in website, email, and campaign conversion rates.Customer Lifetime Value (LTV): Track revenue generated per customer over time.Churn Rate: Measure customer retention and identify factors contributing to churn.Customer Segmentation Effectiveness: Assess how well-defined segments improve personalization and engagement.Repeat Purchase Rate: Percentage of customers making repeat purchases.Data Accuracy & Integrity: Track completeness, consistency, and reliability of marketing data.Data Processing Efficiency: Time taken to collect, process, and analyze marketing data.First-Party Data Utilization: Measure the percentage of marketing efforts leveraging first-party data for personalization.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.8+ years of experience in data analytics, customer insights, or marketing analytics.Strong expertise in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.Proficiency in marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, CDPs, CRM systems).Deep understanding of attribution modeling, customer segmentation, and digital marketing performance metrics.Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and collaborating across departments.Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds if needed.
