About Gratitude House: The mission of Gratitude House is to reduce the rate of relapse by providing a safe, supportive, and beautiful home for sober women committed to 12-step recovery. The sober-living home houses up to eight women and is in a peaceful suburb on a one-acre lot in St. Louis County. Gratitude House Inc. is a 501(c)(3) that was started in 2018. Backed by a powerful all-female Board of Directors and an experienced Executive Director, the organization is dedicated to elevating the sober-living experience and expanding within the next 3-5 years. Read more about Gratitude House on their website: Position Overview: Gratitude House is seeking a compassionate and organized House Manager to join our mission-driven team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women striving for long-term sobriety by fostering a safe, supportive, and structured environment.We are open to candidates who can work evenings and weekends OR we also have a Live-in option with room & utilities included, if desired. The ideal candidate is a sober and active and committed member of a 12-step program, thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses both good boundaries and great empathy, and is passionate about empowering women. You will be supported by a dynamic team of women dedicated to 12-step recovery.If you're a former teacher, nurse, counselor, social worker, healthcare professional, peer support specialist"”or anyone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills"”this could be a deeply rewarding next chapter for you.Key Responsibilities:Resident Oversight and SupportFoster a supportive, structured, and accountable environment for residents.Conduct daily resident check-ins and weekly house meetings.Assist residents with job searches, sponsor connections, and achieving personal recovery goals.Daily Operations and MaintenanceEnsure the home remains clean, organized, and secure.Manage household supplies and coordinate repairs as needed.Administrative ExcellenceOversee applicant intake and coordinate admissions decisions.Provide accurate and timely reports on house operations and incidents.Leadership and CollaborationAct as a role model by demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and adherence to the 12-step principles.Work closely with the Executive Director and Board to ensure smooth operations and alignment with Gratitude House's mission.Why Join Gratitude House?Be part of a groundbreaking mission: Join a dedicated team that is transforming recovery care, empowering women to rebuild their lives, and creating a superior model of support. More Perks: Gratitude House will provide a phone and computer (property of GH) during employment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, healthcare or related field preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of three years of sobriety and active participation in a 12-step program.Professional or volunteer experience in recovery-focused programs is preferred.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and professionalism in maintaining a safe, structured, and compassionate environment.Commitment to maintaining a drug- and alcohol-free environment.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, staff, and stakeholders.Dedication to fostering a clean, orderly, and welcoming living space that supports recovery and personal growth.A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset to address challenges with care and diligence.Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to working with staff, residents, and the board.How to Apply:If you meet the qualifications outlined above, we would love to hear from you!
