LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client in the Fort Lee, NJ area to fill a Procurement Manager Position. The position is 100% on-site. Compensation for the role varies based on experience but will range from $95-$140K plus a health insurance package.Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.Only qualified candidates will be contacted.GENERAL SUMMARYManage the Procurement functions and provide support and assistance to internal end user customers. Coordinate the purchases of all supplies, equipment, and services for the medical center. Responsible for assisting with any issues surrounding the purchasing functions and specifically manages the capital equipment purchases; obtain, review and negotiates contracts for approval; supervise the maintenance of PMM including charge codes and other issues relating to systems for the buying process. Supervise the purchasing office and its functions.Responsibilities:Develop and oversee the Transactional Purchasing Processes for Buyers, Sr. Buyers in the automated system. Develops Purchasing Department Policy and Procedures.Data AnalyticsReview of Group Purchasing Contracts and Savings OpportunitiesParticipation in projects for Cost SavingsPrice IndexingAssists Director in hiring, training and evaluating personnel within the Purchasing departmentCoach and discipline staff; manage internal staff relations.Develops and maintains good relationships with End User Customer Departments.Reviews when customer requests services and maintenance agreements for the Medical Center and Off-Site Businesses.Co-ordinates and develops the Capital Acquisition process to establish a flow of capitals to Capital Committee. Obtains Quotations on products/services/equipment for customers as requested. Check Group Purchasing Buys and Contracts for competitive bids.Prepares Cost Analyses related to contracts.Supervises, communicates and maintains files on FDA recalls and product complaints.Participates with Director in staff development.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREDBachelor degree in Business Administration or a related field preferredStrong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication skills.Knowledge of Infor/Lawson Materials Management information system a plus.Knowledge of ERP system preferred.3- 5 years required in healthcare purchasingStrong negotiation skills
