Position Summary: The Inside Sales & Support Coordinator is a critical role that bridges customer engagement, sales operations, and product development. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless communication with customers, providing sales and shipping support, and contributing to the growth of the company's sales and product strategies.The Inside Sales & Support Coordinator will be responsible for the following key duties:Inside Sales Responsibilities:Proactively reach out to customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, focusing on building relationships and increasing sales.Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through regular customer interactions.Respond to inbound sales inquiries, providing pricing, product information, order assistance, and basic technical assistance.Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accurate and current information for sales strategies.Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.Follow up on leads generated by marketing campaigns and trade shows.Customer Visits:Occasionally visit customers in person to build relationships, provide product demonstrations, and gather feedback.Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer locations as needed.Travel to customer sites to address specific needs or challenges, ensuring exceptional service.Marketing and Sales Support:Create and distribute email campaigns targeting specific customer groups.Conduct product demonstrations and collect customer feedback to inform sales strategies and promotions.Participate in new product development meetings and provide customer insights to the Product Management team.Perform online research to identify pricing trends and prospect opportunities.Monitor and help create and execute email blasts to specific customer groups.Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to staff.Collect feedback and help identify sales strategies, specials, and new market opportunities.General Responsibilities:Understand each customer type and their specific needs.Participate in training and development programs for internal growth and promotion opportunities.Perform other duties as required to support the sales and customer service teams.Opportunity to increase involvement in outside sales activities if desired.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:• 1-3 years of previous experience in inside sales and/or sales support roles• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Experience with MRP and CRM systems a plus
