Role: Journeyman Electrician Location: Mansfield, MA Duration06 months/temp to permSummary:The Facilities Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining, testing, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems and equipment across the facility. This includes wiring installation, troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The technician will work with a variety of tools to perform preventive maintenance, identify electrical issues, and ensure equipment is up to code.Primary Responsibilities:Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders.Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct safety inspections.Install wiring, outlets, and controls according to blueprints.Inspect and maintain transformers and circuit breakers.Use specialized tools like voltmeters, cable testers, and thermal scanners to diagnose issues.Train and direct team members on electrical work and repairs.Follow safety regulations and state/local building codes.Qualifications:Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical License.(MUST be licensed)5+ years of experience in electrical construction/maintenance.Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E standards.Proficient in blueprint reading.Massachusetts driver's license.
