Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Claryville Facility)Location: Alexandria, KY (Onsite)Job Type: Permanent | Full-TimeSalary: $25 - $35 per hour (Based on experience)Shift Premium: Additional $0.80 for second shift | Potential for overtimePosition Summary:We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Claryville Facility. This role is critical in ensuring the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on electrical and motor systems, while also contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of electromechanical equipment including scales, dumpers, mixers, cookers, chillers, slicers, packaging machines, conveyors, palletizers, and pallet wrappersWork with PLC systems, interpret blueprints, ladder logic, and schematics to resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.Conduct repairs, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives for facility and production systems.Perform root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective actions for system failures.Work with motor control systems, servo motors, 3-phase industrial electrical systems, gear reducers, chain/belt drives, pumps, piping systems, heat exchangers, and vacuum pumpsUtilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance activities.Adhere to safety regulations, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), Arc-Flash, hot work permits, and confined space entryCollaborate with maintenance supervisors and planners to develop process improvement strategies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Work off shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.Required Qualifications:2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on electrical systems and motors? Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment? Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics? Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and compliance procedures.? Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.? Willingness to work in cold, humid, and hot environments (ambient temperature ~40°F).? Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs and stand/walk on hard surfaces for 8-12 hours per day.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):Fabrication and welding experience.? Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems? Knowledge of food processing equipment and compliance standards? Familiarity with chemical handling proceduresWhy Join Us?
