Interim General Counsel

Major, Lindsey & Africa's Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim, Full-Time General Counsel focusing on global employment, contracts, non-profit and real estate activities.Overview: Our dynamic client seeks a highly skilled attorney and proven leader to manage an in-house legal team. This is a highly visible full-time Interim General Counsel role, overseeing global legal operations within the non-profit and higher education field. Working closely with internal teams as well as external counsel, both domestically and internationally, this role will provide key insights for legal compliance, risk management, global insurance, and a future contract management process.Company: A Global leader in Educational Programs.Experience: Five plus years of experience in a legal leadership capacity and substantive knowledge and experience as a generalist within a large array of legal fields (e.g. real estate contracts, partnership agreements, leases, privacy, and global employment related matters). A successful candidate should have superb interpersonal skills and be able to provide leadership and guidance to the members of the legal team and serve as a key advisor to the Executive Leadership Team.Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week) in downtown Chicago.
