Job Title: Sr. Manager of Smartphone Paid Media and Communication StrategyLocation: Plano, TXWork Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days in office, 1 day remote (Fridays)Top 3 Skill Sets: Paid Media Strategy, Data & Analytics, Cross-Functional Team ExecutionPosition Summary:Client is looking for a Sr. Manager of Smartphone Paid Media and Communications Strategy to lead the strategy and management of paid media channels. This role will be a cross-functional leader working with teams such as Product Marketing, Creative Services, Social Media, Site Merchandising, Performance Marketing, CRM & Retention, Data & Analytics, and more to deliver a best-in-class consumer experience.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage paid media and communications strategies to drive customer loyalty, acquisition, engagement, and conversion rates.Collaborate with brand and creative teams to implement paid media and digital content strategies that enhance product storytelling.Utilize customer analysis to optimize marketing programs and improve audience development.Support Marketing leadership and Finance teams with planning and forecasting for paid media channels.Manage reporting frameworks to capture program performance and produce actionable optimizations.Present performance findings and communicate progress against goals in a cross-functional setting.Manage and collaborate with external agency partners for integrated marketing execution.Functional Responsibilities:Lead the strategic development and execution for paid marketing channels (TV, Display, Digital Video, Paid Social, OOH, etc.).Develop actionable channel strategies and media plans to drive brand awareness, customer growth, and purchase frequency.Create full-funnel acquisition strategies considering audience targeting, content testing, and conversion optimization.Manage paid media budget, monitor spend and ROI based on KPIs.Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and marketing technology partners to enhance media capabilities.Required Experience & Qualifications:Positive attitude and willingness to get the job done.Interest in both executing and developing strategy.Passion for problem-solving and analytics.Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing or related fields preferred.10+ years of experience in paid media strategy and execution.Proven experience in developing and managing comprehensive paid media strategies.Strong understanding of eCommerce and marketing platforms.Ability to interpret performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.Experience leading and mentoring teams.Experience managing external agencies and partners.Excellent communication and project management skills.Ability to present strategies effectively to senior executives.Collaborative team player.Critical Skills & Attributes:Ability to influence and collaborate within a large, matrixed organization.Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong leadership skills.Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
