They possess strong litigation skills, strategic thinking, and effective advocacy. Whether handling commercial insurance disputes, advising on general insurance matters, or representing portfolio owners against insurers, they prioritize clients' needs and pursue favorable outcomes.Duties and Responsibilities:Handle bad faith insurance claims from file to trial, including investigation, negotiations with insurance company defense lawyers and adjusters, case strategy, and litigationRepresent clients in state and federal courts, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiationsReview and analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, and claim denials to develop strong legal argumentsConduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefsProvide counsel and risk assessment to clients regarding coverage disputes and potential litigationWork closely with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel to negotiate favorable outcomes and participate in alternative dispute resolution processesStay current on insurance law, regulatory changes, and litigation trendsEducation and Experience:J.D. degree from an accredited law schoolActive Arizona Bar license (or ability to obtain licensure)5+ years of experience in bad faith insurance litigation and coverage disputesStrong litigation and trial experience preferredExcellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to work independently and manage a high-volume caseloadStrong negotiation skills and a client-focused approach
