The focus of the role will be to provide support and assistance to the leadership team with all inquiries and deal with investigations, and other compliance-related tasks. Ideally, the HR Coordinator will work in the Burr Ridge office 2 to 3 days per week.HR Generalist Job Responsibilities:Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.Develop and implement safety and training programs, policies, and procedures.Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.Respond to human resources-related inquiries.Assist departmental managers in developing and coordinating of ongoing employee training courses/programsCreate and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.Administer new employee onboarding and orientation.Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.Maintain employee personnel records.HR Coordinator Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in human resources or related degree2-3 years of experience in a HR RoleUnderstanding of state and federal employment regulationsAwareness of OSHA regulations and complianceEfficient HR administration and people management skillsStrong attention to detailFantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRemarkable organizational and conflict management skillsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
