Job Description:If you are a motivated and experienced Legal Assistant with a strong background in corporate, real estate, and transactional law, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our client's team in Miami. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the Transactional Team in Miami. In this role, you will provide crucial support to legal professionals who specialize in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, securities, real estate, and financing for business clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate and corporate law, be familiar with legal terminology, and have strong skills in administrative functions, document management, and client relations.Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing corporate and real estate transactions from initiation to closing.Conduct conflict checks and assist in preparing engagement letters.Organize and prepare closing binders, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.Prepare, organize, and file legal documents related to corporate, real estate, M&A, and financing matters.Coordinate and track the progress of ongoing transactions, ensuring deadlines are met.Maintain accurate records and files for legal projects and client matters.Review and format documents such as contracts, leases, and financing agreements.Draft routine correspondence and assist with client communications.Assist with legal research and due diligence tasks as required by attorneys.Use Microsoft Office, PDF Docs, Adobe Pro, and Litera for document preparation, storage, and collaboration.Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate communication and ensure smooth transactions.Education & Experience:Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field required.Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Junior Paralegal, with a focus on commercial real estate and corporate law.Skills & Qualifications:Strong knowledge of legal terminology in real estate, corporate, and transactional law.Experience with conflict checks, engagement letters, and organizing closing documents.Expertise in document management and closing binder preparation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Working experience with PDF Docs, Adobe Pro, and Litera software.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Why Join Us:Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a supportive team.Opportunities for growth and career development.Competitive salary and benefits package.Collaborative and inclusive company culture.To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications.
