The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial preparation. Your ability to manage case files, coordinate multiple tasks, and communicate effectively will be essential to your success in this role.Your Role and ImpactDraft correspondence and routine pleadings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.Maintain attorneys' calendars, scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and court dates.Organize case files, legal documents, and client records to ensure easy access for the team.Prepare subpoenas, coordinate document productions, and respond to discovery requests.Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.File legal documents in both state and federal courts while adhering to local court rules and procedures.Record attorneys' billable time, manage mail processing, and answer client inquiries with professionalism and empathy.Your Skills and ExpertiseExperience: 2+ years of civil litigation experience required.Plaintiff's Personal Injury Knowledge: 1-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation required.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, with the ability to type at least 65 WPM.Court Procedures: Familiarity with local court rules, filing requirements, and litigation procedures.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.Organizational Skills: Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.Bilingual: Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.Why You'll Love Working HereBy joining our team, you are stepping into a role that supports our mission to provide justice and care for those in need.
