We have been Retained by a growing commercial construction company in the King of Prussia area to identify a Human Resources/Payroll Specialist. This is a broad role that supports the CFO with a variety of Human Resources, Payroll and Business Office duties. Very nice working environment.Human Resources/Payroll Specialist Summary of Duties:The Human Resources/Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll department and assisting with Human Resource functions related to payroll. The Human Resources/Payroll Specialist will also be tasked with retirement plan admin and employee benefits.Human Resources/Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:• Payroll Functionso Process weekly payroll for salaried and hourly (prevailing wage) employeeso Set up new jobs in payrollo Set up new hires/rehireso Oversee drug and alcohol testingo File Federal/State/Local payroll taxes• Retirement Planningo Managing all testing, notice, mailings, Form 5500, and audito Medical/Dental/Vison/Life Insuranceo Assist with and coordinate annual open enrollment with Brokero Review/Approve monthly medical, dental, and life invoices• Property/Casualty Insuranceo Coordinate with Insurance Broker all Certificationso Renewalso File/Administer claimsHuman Resources/Payroll Specialist Skills & Experience:• Previous experience with and strong understanding of payroll• Prior experience working with employee benefits• 5+ years of experience working in the construction, plumbing, and/or HVAC industries• Experience with SAGE Timberline (preferred)
