We are making a positive impact and we want you to be a part of it!The production supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all production and quality goals are met through teamwork and clear communication.Responsibilities:Manage the daily production function within a plant for a production line or specific area for one shiftSupport the achievement of operational KPIs, e.g., safety, quality, delivery, and wasteManage staffing for respective area to meet ongoing production requirements and proactively escalate staffing shortages/surplusesAssess subordinates' skill sets, current and future development needs, and take steps to mentor and develop them appropriatelyManage development, training, and implementation of standardized workSupport and train team to inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctionsConduct timely and complete performance evaluations of direct associates, as well as those reporting under your indirect supervisionPlan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goalsRead and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements, and to evaluate current production estimates and outputsCoordinate communication / documentation between shiftsFacilitate general problem-solving activities with the intent of determining corrective and preventive actionsExecute routine inspection of the production area to review status of safety and quality complianceAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of assigned equipmentEnsure compliance for plant safety and environmental regulationsEnsure equipment is properly maintained to meet high equipment efficiency targetsCoordinate any repairs with maintenancePerform other duties as assignedEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering or equivalent related experience3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader position.Experience with leading direct reportsProject management experienceKnowledge/SkillsProficient with Microsoft Office and related softwareAbility to work cross functionally and collaborate with other departmentsStrong communications and interpersonal skillsAdditional requirements:Comply with company and area Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirementsAdhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirementsAble to work effectively in both office and production environmentsProvide hands-on support of equipmentPrompt and regular attendance within our onsite operationsFlexibility to work adjusted shifts, as necessaryAre you ready to join us in our journey toward a better world?
