Sughrue Mion, PLLC, an internationally recognized Intellectual Property law firm, located in Washington, DC is seeking an Operations Assistant.The Operations Assistant position is a multi-faceted opportunity for anyone looking to gain practical experience in the fields of office management, marketing, and client relations. This role will allow you to work closely with our dedicated teams, providing valuable support and contributing to various projects. If you're a motivated and adaptable individual with a passion for technology, organization, and creative communication, we encourage you to apply.· Provide administrative support to the Office Manager, including managing schedules, coordinating committee meetings, and organizing documents.· Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing office areas.· Support the coordination of firm events, and office-related activities through research, contacting vendors and onsite event assistance.· Support the planning and coordination of client visits, ensuring all logistics and activities are organized· Maintain departmental documentation, databases and spreadsheets.· Demonstrate a commitment to provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests and firm staff.· Support marketing initiatives, including drafting and distributing promotional materials, coordinating eventsThis position is located in the Washington, DC office which is currently in a hybrid mode. 1-3 days in office and remote availability 2 days a week.· High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.· Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software.· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.· Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) and familiarity with content management systems are a plus.· Creative mindset and an ability to contribute innovative ideas.· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.· Flexible and eager to take on diverse tasks across different departments..· Excellent writing, problem-solving, and analytical skills.· Ability to manage time and resources in order to meet deadlines.· Ability to take initiative, manage projects and handle multiple competing priorities.· Willingness to be flexible in work routine.
