High-volume Property Management Company is searching for a detailed and proactive Leasing Agent to assist in the growth of our company. A strong ability to problem solve, manage multiple tasks at once, as well as receive direction from multiple team members is a must. This position is based onsite at our office in Addison, TX. An Active Texas Real Estate license is required in order to be consideredSummary of Responsibilities and Duties:Report to Property Manager, Leasing, and Regional Manager for weekly tasks and responsibilitiesRecord and update details of prospective tenants into computer database swiftlyLiaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concernsCommunicate with prospects and realtors via email and phoneInforming field team of any issuesAdvertising available properties as necessaryScreening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirementsCompleting lease applications and verifying application informationInforming prospective tenants of results of applicationsAccepting rent payments, security deposits and other applicable feesMaintaining and storing documentation effectivelyAny other daily tasks associated with the leasing of propertiesRecording and updating details of prospective and existing landlords and tenants into a computer database swiftly.Examining properties and informing maintenance staff of issues.Advertising available properties and conducting property tours as part of marketing activities as necessary.Screening prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements.Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application information.Informing prospective tenants of results.Inspecting properties when tenants take occupation and vacate.Liaising with tenants to provide information and address their complaints and concerns.Maintaining and storing documentation effectively.Accepting rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees.Any other daily tasks associated with Leasing.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Active Texas Real Estate LicenseAs an Open House employee, you will be required to hang your license with our brokerage and will not be permitted to practice Real Estate while employed.Proficiency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is highly preferred.3+ years experience in Single Family Property ManagementHigh School diploma or GED equivalent requiredExperience with MLS, Property ware, Salesforce, and Rently preferred, but not requiredReliable transportation with valid Driver's License and InsuranceDetail-orientedTime Management is key to this positionSelf-reliant and can work independently without directionWorks well in a team setting and inter-departmentallyExcellent customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written skillsProfessional demeanorA background check, drug screening and motor vehicle background search will be required for all final candidates during the application process.
