A leading law firm is seeking a Temporary Legal Recruiting Assistant to join its Legal Recruiting & Department. This individual will support the recruiting efforts of the Los Angeles office and report to the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager. The role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to handle recruiting and event coordination in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary assignment, expected to last at least 6 months.Key Responsibilities:Summer Associate Program:Coordinate Summer Associate orientation, events, and activities.Serve as the primary liaison between Summer Associates, attorneys, and staff.Assist with rising 2L receptions, offer dinners, and other recruiting events.Fall Recruiting:Organize pre-OCI events and manage the interview scheduling process.Oversee the resume collection and write-in application process.Maintain recruiting records and candidate data in ViDesktop.Assist in preparing for offer decision meetings.General Recruiting Support:Coordinate new associate orientation and assist with the 1L application process.Maintain timelines for recruiting events and projects.Procure branded gifts and giveaways.Provide administrative support for the recruiting team and handle inquiries from attorneys and staff.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required.Minimum of 1+ year of experience in legal or professional services, recruiting, or a related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Symplicity and ViDesktop preferred.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and provide excellent client service.Compensation:$23 - $30/hr. depending on relevant experienceMatura Farrington is an EEOC employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance and all other local, state and federal laws.
