Position: Assembly TechnicianOpenings: 3 (2nd shift - 3 PM - 11:30 PM) Training will be on 1st shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM) then switched to 2nd shift once training is completedSchedule: 10 hours shifts right now, need to be open to SaturdaysDuration: 2 year C2H (guarantee to get hired on directly as long as successful within the role)Pay Rate: $21-25/hr - depending on years of experienceLocation: Auburn Hills, MIMust Haves:1-5 years' in manufacturing mechanical assembly as a Mechanical Repair Technician, Automotive Technician, Pneumatic Technician, Maintenance Technicians, Machine builder or line builderExperience in manufacturing mechanical assembly and testExperience with fixtures and jig for mechanical assembly.Experienced and knowledgeable on ISO 9001 requirements (preferred) NETA Certified or NETA Certified Level 3 (preferred)Plusses:Certifications: Basic technical trainings with pneumatic focusAssociate degree or Technical Certificate in an Applied Science, licensed/journeyman, or equivalent experience.Responsibilities:A leading supplier of automation for manufacturing is looking for an eager Assembly Technician to join their team in Auburn Hills, MI. Assembly Technicians may work on mechanical sub-assemblies, such as turrets, arms, wrists, robot, cable installation, cable, catrac and rail assemblies. Critical skills require assembly of basic mechanical sub-assemblies to precision assemblies. This role is for the paint team. The Paint delivery system starts with sub-assemblies of equipment and includes mounting of hardware and installation of hosing for paint and air systems. Integration of hoses and mechanical assembly are precision tasks that require considerable attention to detail. Position requires some testing of application assemblies.
