Machinist

High-volume manufacturing facility in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Tooling Manager / Machinist to oversee the repair, service, and maintenance of plant systems and equipment. Experience in repair, fabrication, troubleshooting and mechanical equipment would be helpful. PLC and Welding would be a plus. The standard metals used include Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Silicon Bronze, and Stainless Steel.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent with related vocational education.Minimum of 10 years of experience as a machinist.Minimum of 10 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic on industrial equipment.Proven ability to safely troubleshoot and repair complex industrial systems.Strong knowledge and demonstrable ability in fabrication, welding, and the use of lathes and milling machines.Familiarity with basic electrical, hydraulic, and compressed air safety procedures.Expertise in Lockout/Tagout concepts and procedures.Strong communication and leadership skills.Demonstrated safe and productive work habits.Ability and willingness to acquire additional tools or certifications as needed.Reach out today for details.
