At AMC, you'll join a dynamic team of collaborative, innovative, and supportive professionals and can "Achieve What You Believe."About The RoleThe Education Manager supports our client, American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, (AAHPM), and will project manage all functions of complex, multi-faceted educational programs including live and digital learning strategies and implementation. The education manager will collaborate with member volunteers, stakeholders and relevant departments within the Academy to plan and implement educational initiatives and participate in the strategic development of new educational activities and products while ensuring compliance with guidelines and accreditation standards.EducationProject manage AAHPM's national conference delivery of high-quality live learning programs (in-person, virtual, and Omni Channel) and resources using best practices in adult learning principles and conference development strategy. Serves as primary liaison with abstract and conference platform vendors to develop and implement the deliverables for conference launch in alignment with the conference purpose and the operating and strategic plans of the Academy.Oversee the development and implementation of the educational activities that are part of the Academy's LEARN Subscription, which includes multiple product lines such as micro-learning flights, grand rounds, informational videos, enduring webinars, presentation modules, and other product lines that are part of the subscription. Works with faculty to plan and develop the identified products.Working with the Marketing Team, oversee the ongoing review of products that are expiring and the development and implementation of new products, which includes volunteer and vendor management, and building the products within the Academy's LMS. Work with the marketing team to ensure all products posted online are running properly and in compliance with ACCME and other CME guidelines.Work cross-functionally across all AAHPM departments to support educational representation, messaging and communications.Work with the Director, Education and Learning and Senior Director of Marketing and Membership to identify new opportunities for growth with new programs and initiatives to increase non-dues revenue, which includes using the latest educational learning trends, learning technology and other resources available to improve instructional design and delivery of educational content. Work with the education team to identify opportunities to streamline processes for all educational products to ensure compliance with ACCME and other CME guidelines.Collaborate with Academy staff to develop and implement and integrate culturally appropriate communication and content throughout the education, messaging, and initiatives of the Academy.Oversight of logistics for education committee meetings and conference calls as they relate to education products/programs. Experience And SkillsBachelor's degree required.3+ years professional experience in planning, producing, and evaluating continuing education and conference program activities to include abstract management platforms, preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, or medical society/ association setting.Technology: AMS, LMS, Abstract and speaker management systems, Zoom, project management software.Ability to travel out of state and overnight by all modes of transportation including car, plane, and train. (anticipated 2-3 times per year).Physical: Sitting, Walking, Standing, Manual Dexterity, Hearing and Seeing. Compensation:$65,000-$75,000 annually. Within this range, individual pay is determined by relevant factors, including job-related skills, experience, market data, work location, and education or training. Location:This is a hybrid role in Schaumburg, IL. Employees who reside within 50 miles of the office are expected to work onsite one day per month. At times, there may be circumstances that require additional visits to the office.Candidates who live more than 50 miles from the office, including in and out of IL, may be considered for a remote opportunity.
