Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.Perform basic parts inspection using gages and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gages and thread, plug and ring gages, hardness testers, spring tester or related inspection equipment to determine acceptability or rejection of parts. Operate surface analyzer to determine parts finish. Observe and perform audits of assembly and test, machining and other functions for compliance to procedures. Document acceptances and rejections.Route inspected parts per instructions.Perform basic calibration on various types of measuring and test equipment.Determine measuring and test equipment acceptability to tolerances.
