Position Overview:A growing leader in biopharmaceutical manufacturing solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth in the Eastern U.S. This role focuses on selling custom upstream and downstream process solutions, including bioreactors, fermenters, mixing systems, and other biopharma equipment. The Regional Sales Manager will serve as the primary customer interface, leading the development of new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within biologics, vaccines, CMOs, and cell and gene therapy companies.Strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.Prospect and secure new accounts to support regional revenue growth.Create and implement strategic sales initiatives for both new and existing customers.Conduct competitive analysis, coordinate sales presentations and proposals, and manage follow-up activities.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and promote solutions.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on account strategies and best practices.Provide sales activity reports, market analysis, and revenue forecasts.Support continuous improvement initiatives within the sales and business development teams.Travel as required (estimated 60-80%).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience with a track record of success in strategic selling and negotiation.Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or biopharmaceutical industries preferred.Strong ability to influence decision-makers across operations, quality, procurement, and product development.Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skillsExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies is a plus.Fluent in English; remote/hybrid position with preference for candidates near a biopharma manufacturing hub on the East CoastThis role presents an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to drive business growth in a rapidly expanding industry.
