This position offers an excellent chance for a motivated Associate Attorney to gain hands-on experience and advance their career with an established firm in the Bay Area.Job duties:· Taking on a moderate caseload of employment-based and family-based immigration matters, reporting to the managing attorney. Casework includes but is not limited to H-1B, L-1, PERM, EB-1, EB-2, EB-5, O-1, TN, and family-based petitions, drafting legal briefs, responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), motions, and appeals as needed, and conduct legal research and stay informed about case precedents and regulatory changes affecting immigration law.· Reviewing casework from subordinate legal staff to ensure accuracy and compliance. Tasks include conducting thorough legal analysis and quality control on case filings prepared by paralegals and junior legal staff, to ensure compliance with USCIS, DOL, and DOS regulations, identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies, and provide constructive feedback and training to improve the efficiency and accuracy of legal staff.· Managing client relations and set clear expectations acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive and transparent communication. · Participating in client consultations and strategy sessions, helping businesses and individuals navigate various immigration matters.· Working directly with a diverse range of clients, including corporations, investors, and individuals.Qualifications:· JD/LLM· License to practice law in any state (California Bar preferred)· ?Entry level to 1 year of immigration law experience, preferably in employment-based immigration · Strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively · ?Bilingual candidates are preferred Pay raises are given on an annual basis and we also offer excellent benefits including a health insurance stipend, 401(k), two seasonal bonuses, PTO (12 days per year), paid holidays (9 days per year), and work from home benefits.Interested applicants should email their resume and cover letter.Please note: This role is based in Fremont, California, and preference will be given to candidates who are already local to the Northern California.
