With recent expansion including a new West Coast technology center, they're experiencing remarkable growth while maintaining the stability of a billion-dollar global organization.The Opportunity: We're seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to cover a multi-state territory that includes Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona. While candidates can be based anywhere in the greater Sacramento area, San Francisco Bay Area, or surrounding regions, they must be willing to travel extensively throughout the tri-state territory. The role involves regular Monday-Friday travel (up to 85%) serving customers across Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair sophisticated food processing equipment at customer sitesTroubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsProvide exceptional customer service and technical supportConduct preventative maintenance and equipment repairsGenerate detailed technical reports and maintain service recordsManage spare parts inventoryRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of mechanical or electrical repair experienceStrong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematicsMust be based in Northern California (Sacramento, Bay Area, or surrounding regions)Willingness to travel up to 85% throughout Northern California, Nevada, and ArizonaValid driver's license and ability to drive up to 5 hours to customer sitesComfortable with air travel for destinations beyond driving distanceOutstanding Benefits Package:Competitive base compensation ~$40/HR$620 monthly auto stipend ($310 per pay period, $8,060 annually)Additional reimbursements include:All gas expenses (both personal and business use)Oil changesNew tires (up to 2 sets)All mechanical maintenanceCar washesGuaranteed 40-hour workweekOvertime pay at 1.5x rateDouble time for weekend workTriple time for holiday work (11 paid holidays)100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with 4% company match2 weeks vacation + 6 days PTO (negotiable based on experience)All business travel expenses covered (hotels, meals, flights)Comprehensive training programThis role offers an exceptional opportunity for growth with a stable, innovative company that truly values its employees.
