Post Production Specialist

As the Post Production Specialist, you will possess a strong understanding of video production workflows, excellent technical skills, and a passion for crafting engaging educational media. This role is designed as a hybrid (2 days on site), but fully remote work will be considered. This full-time position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, working either from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. ResponsibilitiesTransfer footage to the Media Content Platform (our internal server).Organize RAW media for efficient post-production workflows.Edit video content, including cutting and color correction.Create and insert static and motion graphics, titles, closed captioning, and sound effects.Add music, voice-overs, and other audio elements to enhance the content.Render videos in appropriate formats for various platforms.Ensure timely delivery of finalized media to hosting services, including Vimeo, YouTube, and MyLibrary (CAP's proprietary platform).Design and incorporate engaging visuals using Adobe Premiere and other relevant Adobe products.Manage and maintain the organization of the video library.Required QualificationsProficiency in Adobe Premiere and other Adobe Creative Cloud products (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).Strong knowledge of hosting services and content delivery workflows (e.g., Vimeo, YouTube).Experience in color correction and audio post-production.Expertise in multi-camera editing techniques.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in educational or publishing-related video production.Familiarity with classical education principles and media landscape.Additional InformationClassical Academic Press provides a fixed salary to their employees.
