This internship offers hands-on experience in the logistics and supply chain industry while supporting Senior Account Managers. You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving sales growth. We operate on an internship-to-hire model, providing the potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.Pay/Compensation Options$17.75/hour or $15/hr + $50 per account landedEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCold Calling & Lead GenerationConduct outbound calls to qualify leads, identify decision-makers, introduce M&P Logistics' services, and schedule follow-up meetings for Senior Account Managers.Sales SupportAssist with client record management, report preparation, and client correspondence.Client ResearchResearch potential clients and their supply chain needs to personalize outreach and proposals.Data Entry & CRM ManagementMaintain accurate client data in the CRM system.Customer Relationship BuildingCommunicate with existing clients, maintain positive relationships, and address minor inquiries.Additional TasksSupport various logistics, supply chain, and account development tasks as needed.Preferred QualificationsCommunication SkillsStrong verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.Positive AttitudeUpbeat, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Work EthicSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Computer ProficiencySkilled in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new software; CRM experience a plus.Time ManagementCapable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects.Education and ExperienceCurrently enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program.Preferred fields of study include Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics, but other related majors will also be considered.Prior internship or work experience in a business or customer-facing role is a plus but not required.Learning OpportunitiesGain hands-on experience in the logistics and supply chain industry.Learn how to effectively support sales and account management efforts in a B2B environment.Develop valuable skills in communication, client relations, lead generation, and CRM software.Mentorship and career guidance from Senior Account Managers and leadership at M&P Logistics.
