Hardware Technician

Our Client, a Fintech Company, is looking for a Hardware Technician to join their team in Oakland, CA!Pay: $37.93 This Is A 6 Month Contract With Opportunity to Convert Or Extend!As the Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for IT inventory oversight and device management including in house testing, routine maintenance of devices/ components such as firmware and software upgrades and managing distribution of equipment.DutiesPerform in-house test and routine maintenance of devices and componentsPerform basic device maintenance such as firmware and software upgrades, battery maintenance, and battery replacementMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of hardware devicesFollow device security and secrecy practicesParticipates in the maintenance of a clean, neat and organized, member-ready area; organizes inventoryDevice Room backup - support device room activitiesRequired Skills & ExperienceAS or applicable equivalent experience as a Device Specialist responsible for the maintenance or upgrade of electronics, Field Failure Analyst, Hardware Lab Technician, etc.Prior experience with device maintenance proceduresFamiliarity with Build Matrices and Device ConfigurationsThe ability to exert force and/or lift or carry items safely weighing twenty-five (25) to forty (40) pounds occasionally, and up to ten (10) pounds frequently.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAdaptability and flexibilityProficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets
