This role involves overseeing purchasing operations, negotiating supplier contracts, and optimizing sourcing strategies. We foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, making this an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the purchasing team to drive efficiency and collaboration.Develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance.Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new suppliers.Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to maximize value and minimize risks.Work closely with construction, land, sales, and finance teams to align purchasing with project timelines.Oversee the procurement process from requisition to material delivery.Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies proactively.Evaluate supplier performance using Key Performance Indicators and implement improvement plans.Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.Must-Have Skills:Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in construction or homebuilding.Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of driving cost savings.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficiency in G Suite and purchasing software/systems.Nice to Have Skills:Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.Experience working in an EOS-run company.Familiarity with industry-specific procurement software.
