Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Leave and Accommodation AdministratorEmployment Type: ContractLocation: RemotePay rate$25-$29/hrResponsibilities:Manage the end-to-end leave process, ensuring compliance with FMLA, company policies, and regulatory requirements.Oversee all types of leave, including FMLA, STD, LTD, parental leave, and company-specific policies, while handling extensions and return-to-work coordination.Provide guidance on leave entitlements, required documentation, and procedural steps, serving as a primary resource for employees and managers.Independently approve or deny leave requests based on eligibility and medical information while ensuring HIPAA and legal compliance.Work closely with HR, payroll, LOAA Business Partners, and key stakeholders to align leave programs with organizational goals and workforce planning.Maintain accurate leave records in HRIS systems, streamline administrative processes, and continuously improve leave management practices.Develop, implement, and refine policies to ensure compliance with evolving federal, state, and global leave regulations.Requirements:2-3 years in Leave of Absence (LOA) and Accommodation administration across multiple settings.Skilled in handling intricate leave and accommodation cases, including conducting interactive discussions and managing complex scenarios.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively to various stakeholders.Exceptional ability to prioritize multiple leave and accommodation activities while providing timely problem resolution.Proven ability to analyze information, make informed decisions, and handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.Demonstrated sound judgment and the ability to make independent, well-reasoned decisions.Ability to build strong relationships with HR partners and business leaders while providing thoughtful recommendations for complex requests.Preferred Requirements:Experience with leave management software (e.g., AbsenceSoft) and payroll systems like ADP, including advice-to-pay (ATP) processes.Strong understanding of advanced leave laws and regulatory changes, enabling informed policy and process recommendations.Certified in Disability Management, Leave Management, or Rehabilitation Counseling.Previous experience managing insourced leave and accommodation programs.Benefits that Russell Tobin offers:Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.
