Under appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, the U70 Site Manager reports to the Assistant Director and is responsible for the following. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed in this position; they are only the major duties.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure operations meet the need of the customerOversee all daily operations of the siteEncourage and develop a safe work environmentEnsure the facility equipment and the facility itself are in good working orderDaily client interfacing requiredApprove all invoices for payment and issue Purchase Orders for all major purchasesApprove payrollDevelop and refine budget with assistance of the Assistant Director/Finance ManagerEnsure the facility operates within budget - if not be able to walk causeDevelop more cost-effective methods for operationsEnsure all permits required by municipality are in placeBackup the Sr. Operations ManagerAssign personnel to job responsibilitiesAssist and direct process re-design where requiredEnsure Safe, High Quality, Productive Services are provided to our clientUnderstand, implement and support completion of the daily operations planProvide necessary PPE, equipment and tools to complete workMonitor, conduct, and review employee performance evaluations and follow up on progressMonitor and maintain operations KOIsRecognize improvementSupport the IR, Quality, Inventory, Transportation, and Safety Departments in all areas of the operationImplement RCCA's that will prevent reoccurrence of system defectsMonitor the inventory activities and shrinkage, including execution of BLR process to client specificationSupport any programs needed at the operation (CTPAT, MDP, LMS, etc.)Ensure the operation conducts quarterly activity eventsMaintain communications at all levelsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Five years of Operations Management experience and extensive knowledge of WSI Policy and ProceduresStrong interpersonal skills regarding interface with employees and clientA strong commitment to the safety, care and concerns of all employeesA strong commitment to treating all employees fairly and consistentlyProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe AcrobatForklift certified or able to obtain certificationMust be able to lift 55 lbs.
