Soundview Consultants (SVC) is a well-respected environmental consulting firm with 15 years of experience serving our clients and communities. SVC specializes in both marine and land use issues; site planning and project design; project coordination; permitting and management; marine, wetland, and stream ecology; habitat restoration; wetland, stream, tree, and eelgrass delineations and assessments; benthic surveys; underwater and terrestrial-monitoring programs, mitigation planning, project planning, landscape architecture, and arborist services.Soundview Consultants has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Project Controller to join our growing team! Additional years of experience may substitute for education requirements.Effective communication skills (written and oral) required.Effective problem solving and organizational skills.Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred.DutiesRecord project and billing set up information in the Company's VP system, as defined in the contract, including special contract instructions/client preferences.Assist with project budgeting.Monitor project expenditures and budget variances and communicate potential issues.Review staff timesheets for accuracy to task and budget and provide constructive feedback to staff as needed.Review Weekly Unbilled Detail Report and provide feedback to Project Team. Generate project specific monitoring reports as requested by the Project Team.Create, track and process invoices, coordinating with Project Manager (PM) and Principal in Charge (PIC).
