OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Retention Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by effectively managing customer relationships. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.Description of Duties:Assist individuals by completing the appropriate forms and meeting necessary recertification/re-enrollment targets, or by the facilitation of the processCommunicate benefits of EH's products/services to maximize potential for continued membership and/or enrollments or purchases/subscriptionsFunction as a liaison between all EmblemHealth departments to help identify and resolve member's recertification problems or concernsProvide telephonic communication to Marketplace members in accordance with the Retention Plan developed by the Marketplace leadership teamProvide proactive phone contact at least twice in the first three months of membership to welcome, explain benefits and provide health improvement opportunitiesTrack call volume, member disenrollment date and member renewals in order to measure/evaluate effectiveness.Utilize automated tools such as EPACES, Market Prominence, ESAWS and QCARE to perform duties and conduct telephonic outreach and set field appointments when necessaryDevelop and maintain appropriate understanding of the health care products related to sales responsibility.Successfully complete periodic certification and testing to maintain knowledge level established by regulationsRegular attendance is an essential function of the jobPerform other duties as assigned or requiredQualifications:Associate's degree in business, healthcare, marketing, communications field or related; B.A. preferredMust have and maintain up-to-date regulatory certification for all products sold as a condition of continued employment1 - 2+ years of business experience with client/member/community interface and/or customer service required3 - 5+ years of experience in sales or sales related community activities preferredProven track record of successfully completing tasks / assignments within specified parameters requiredAbility to organize, prioritize, and to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to work as part of a team or independently requiredExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types and levels of audiences requiredProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) requiredAbility to accurately enter and update information into a database system required
