Job Title:Marketing and Bid Manager Reports to: Vice President of Business Development, Director of HR & AdminSummary: Looking for an eager and organized self-starter to lead Braun Construction Group's marketing initiative, as well as assist the Estimating department. This position is responsible for enhancing the company's brand presence, as well as ensuring the successful preparation and submission of bids and RFP's. The Marketing & Bid Manager will work closely with leadership to identify and lead potential marketing growth opportunities, as well as enhancing the quality of bids. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, have plan/spec book literacy, as well as experience working with Microsoft & Adobe suites (Preferred In-Design or Illustrator). BCG is looking for an individual with strong team management & organizational skills who possess a passion and understanding of marketing strategies and a desire to grow the companies brand.Key Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy:Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company's brandIncrease Braun Construction Group's visibility and build a strong digital reputationCreate engaging content across all social media platforms with the purpose of generating leads and showcasing our workCreate and distribute BCG's Newsletter on a quarterly basis. Responsible for gathering information on projects from field and office personnel, as well as any changes within company policies, healthcare, 401k, corporate events, etc.Innovate and update the company websiteImplement and maintain "Letters of Recommendation" and customer testimonial quotesCoordinate with photographer to update and utilize progress & final photos of projectsSchedule new hires corporate headshotsProposal & Bid Support:Create and prepare ITB'sManage subcontractor outreachPrint and organize bidsConduct post bid reviews to analyze positive and negatives of bid processInitiate change to continue to improve upon bid qualityPrepare RFP for review with Estimating TeamTranslate RFP to presentation formatCreate Project ManualsAid with bid openingAssist Estimators on Bid Days with qualifying subcontractor quotes when necessaryMaintain and update BCG employee resume databaseMaintain Estimating Software - PanteraMaintain Subcontractor DatabaseSubcontractor solicitation to confirm bidding statusCollect responses to the invitation's to bid and notify estimator of subcontractor coverage for each tradeEvent Coordination:Assist in organizing and coordinating industry events, trade shows, and client meetingsSupport with sponsorship opportunities and promotional materials at eventsPrepare and organize quarterly company functions (ex. golf outings, holiday parties, etc.)Administrative & Communications Support:Provide administrative support to the estimating team as neededLead meeting minutes for BCG's Monthly Operations MeetingResponsible for client holiday gifts and client informationMaintain Estimating & BCG Calendar up-to-dateQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business Administration, Communications or a related fieldAdditional certifications in digital marketing or construction industry specific marketing are advantageousProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in Adobe SuiteStrong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team2 years of previous experience in marketing or bid coordination preferred
