Corporate Credit Analyst - Financials

About the Firm:Our client is a leading $10 billion credit investment firm specializing in corporate credit across the capital structure. The firm employs a fundamental, research-driven approach to investing, with a focus on delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns. The team is looking to bring on a financials focused credit analyst to generate ideas across the sector. Key Responsibilities:Idea Generation: Identify and develop investment opportunities across investment-grade and high-yield credit within the financials sector, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and specialty finance.Fundamental Research: Conduct deep capital structure analysis, evaluate creditworthiness, assess regulatory impacts, and analyze macroeconomic trends affecting financial institutions.Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial modelsMonitoring & Risk Assessment: Track portfolio names, monitor credit events, earnings reports, and regulatory developments, and assess relative value opportunities.Collaboration: Work closely with PMs, senior analysts, and tradersRequirements:Minimum of 3 years' of relevant experience (covering financials)Proven track record of delivering high-quality investment analysis and recommendationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
