This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the largest commercial landscaping contractor in Texas, business operations, and leadership, all while being paid. Successful completion of the internship could lead to future employment opportunities.ROLE + RESPONSIBILTIESYou will get hands-on experience executing the work that drives our company and provides opportunities for many of our employees. This is the hard, dirty, sweaty, physically demanding work.You will gain experience across maintenance, irrigation, and enhancements departments, or our construction division providing insight into the complete cycle of our business operations.You will assist key managers within Clean Scapes and develop an understanding of their roles and functions in the business.You will spend time with multiple departments, managers, and leaders at Clean Scapes, experiencing how business operations run from frontline work to the executive team.You will engage in development with your cohort weekly including a speaker series with community leaders, a study program of books and resources to guide your career, and lessons in business and leadership.REQUIREMENTS:Completed at least one year of college (accepting all majors"”from landscape management, agriculture, and horticulture to business, finance, engineering, construction science, and more"”there's a need for all skill sets and backgrounds in our business).Outstanding GPA (>3.5) or a clear and persuasive demonstration of why your GPA has suffered.Demonstrated Competency: Leadership experience, strong academic and extracurricular record, problem-solver, demonstrated motivation to make a difference.Demonstrated Character: Eager to learn, humble, receptive, desire to help and serve, personal integrity.Demonstrated Culture: People-oriented, strategic, long-term thinker, hardworking.Austin, TX | Program Runs: June 2-August 4, 2025Compensation: $20/hour (typically 30-40 hours a week) + opportunity to earn a scholarship at the completion of the internship.
