We are seeking an experienced Attorney Recruiting Manager to join a dynamic law firm on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Chief Recruiting Officer, this role will oversee the lateral associate recruiting process, working closely with senior partners and managing the full-cycle recruitment process. The position requires a highly organized and proactive professional who can deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Lateral Recruiting:Manage the lateral associate hiring program, including outreach to candidates and recruiters.Oversee the offer and hiring process, including approval workflows, correspondence, background checks, conflicts checks, and reference verification.Collaborate with senior partners to address staffing needs across practice areas.Review candidate materials, source talent, and identify qualified candidates for interviews.Data Management & Reporting:Maintain and update applicant tracking systems for reporting purposes (e.g., NALP and reference tracking).Prepare and analyze data on attorney attrition, market trends, and hiring projections.Technology & Tools:Administer and maintain recruiting software systems like ViRecruit.Ensure proper documentation and database integrity for recruiting efforts.Additional Duties:Provide occasional support for law student recruiting and summer associate programs.Collaborate on strategic initiatives and special projects with the Chief Recruiting Officer.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required, with at least five years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services environment.Proven expertise in managing lateral associate recruiting programs.Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.High attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with recruiting software (e.g., ViRecruit, FloRecruit, Symplicity) preferred.Compensation:$40 - $55/hr. depending on experienceMatura Farrington is an EEOC employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance and all other local, state and federal laws.
