About the RoleWe're excited to announce an opportunity for a Junior Recruiter to join one of Ascendion's subsidiary companies on a 6-month contract! This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in recruiting. In this role, you'll focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, helping them find the right opportunities. If you're eager to learn, grow, and work onsite in our Basking Ridge, New Jersey office, we'd love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesRecruit through various avenues including internal databases, university job portals, networking events, career fairs, etc.Conducts phone conversations with potential candidates to explain opportunities.Facilitates and organizes career fair events, phone calls, and initial screening interviews.Will be responsible for documentation and reporting feedback, focused approaches, overall ratios, and pipelines.Demonstrates comfortability speaking in front of a diverse class.Ability to professionally engage in conversations that are difficult in nature, handling escalations, giving positive/negative feedback, and responding to questions appropriately.Interaction with external and internal faculty, clients, vendors.Champion the facility and candidate relationships.Ability to present ideas and take initiative for new projects.All dedicated responsibilities will be focused to support the Hire Train Deploy Program.Engage in weekly calls with Executive Sponsors.Build and maintain candidate and university relationshipsAbility to discuss and establish rapport at all levels in the organization and universityMaintain a database of external candidates and referralsAttend multiple networking eventsQualificationsBachelor's degreeLess than 1 year experiencePrevious experience working with retail or as an agency recruiter is a plusGood coordination skills, detail and process orientedRelationship building skillsAbility to work within a culturally diverse environmentExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work with others and take critical feedbackExcellent oral and written communication skillsAble to speak in front of audiencesAbility to manage through change with little supervision and work independentlySelf-motivated, positive, and flexible outlookHigh commitment to excellence and ability to deliver excellent customer serviceAbility to multi-task in a very fast paced environmentAbility to manage and juggle competing prioritiesStrong sense of urgencyCommitment to high performance and resultsHybrid Work Environment (3 set days per week)Required SkillsAble to handle high level of confidentiality and common-sense regarding employee information.Good time management, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.Pay range and compensation packageThis role offers an hourly rate between $18 and $24, based on experience.Ascendion provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, citizen and immigration status, age, disability, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
