PurposeThis position is responsible for functional design, test and implementation for WMS (Warehouse management system), integration and Supply-Chain Reporting related applications.Job functions:Understanding of systems integration platforms/solutions and architecture as well as data/database structure and tablesExperience with Manhattan WM Active application implementation & configurationExperience in MySQL (Google), XML/XSL syntax, APIs and JSON/postmanExperience in implementing WM software solutions, experienced in multiple phases, ie. design, development, testing, go live, planning & production supportQuick learner & excellent communicator having proficiency in Microsoft applications, including moderate experience in Excel (e.g., use of functions as well as macro writing/editing) and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePointWork closely with integration team and other system teams to implement cross-functional solutionsAbility to lead projects and enhancements from inception to completion by having conversations with Business partners, vendors, IT teams and developers as neededExperience working with business partners and end users to define/document business needsUtilizing Agile principles, implement system technology capabilities through requirements gathering, analysis, configuration, testing, user acceptance, and user adoptionExperience with ticketing/case/incident management software (e.g., ServiceNow)Experience in test management and solutions such as qTestDocumentation/change logs of fixes and new functionality releasesTroubleshoot production issues and identify/report base system defectsIdentifying and writing user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and use of JIRAExcellent communication, problem solving/root cause analysis, and data analysis skillsManages back-end and front-end configurations/business rule settingsWork directly with software/solution vendors to provide issue details and ensuring defect resolution with some guidance from Senior or leadsEnsure software/solution vendor deliverables align with Floor and Decor priorities, timelines, and work agreements/contracts with some guidance from Senior or leads.Work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks across different business units.Ability to manage their time and plan independently and guide the junior member in team to accomplish team objectivesHigh level of customer serviceWorking Conditions (travel, hours, environment)This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceeds eight hours in a day or forty hours in a weekThis job typically does need travel 10-30% that may need travel including air and car travel for attending training, conferences, or Store / Warehouse visits.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
