Engineering Technician Description of Duties:Online/Offline robot programmingPLC programmingRun trials and adjust parametersEvaluate quality drawings and meet standardsUse simulation software to perform reach studies and cycle time analysisEvaluate Quality of parts using elco-meters, wave-scan and X-RiteCreate Hand Over Documents and snapshots of the robot processesMust be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written wordEngineering Technician Requirements:Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyCreative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challengeAble to analyze problems and strategies better solutionsFlexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projectsAble to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills2 years of technical degree or equivalent work experienceWorking knowledge of AutoCADEngineering Technician - Bonus if you have:Experience with automated robotic paint shop applicationsPLC programming experienceExperience with Kawasaki Robots, Fanuc Robots (programming and problem troubleshooting)Experience with Digital EngineeringAdditional related certifications
