Job Title: Senior Relationship Manager, Corporate & Institutional BankingLocation:New York, New YorkThe Client:The client is a prominent financial institution with deep regional roots and a global reach. They offer a comprehensive range of banking services to corporate, retail, and institutional clients, emphasizing entrepreneurial spirit, long-term customer relationships, and a commitment to sustainability and digital innovation.What you will achieve in this role:Drive the acquisition of new clients to enhance the bank's visibility and reach, collaborating with international banking teams to promote financial products.Foster and sustain relationships with both new and existing clients.Develop bespoke financing solutions like syndicated, structured, and bilateral loans, aimed at subsidiaries of major industry players.Work closely with product teams and deal specialists to formulate personalized financial plans, support credit application processes, conduct annual performance reviews, and participate in budgeting activities.Partner with the Risk Management department to jointly develop and evaluate credit applications and strategic business plans.Coordinate with the Loan Documentation and Legal departments to ensure the seamless execution of financial agreements and credit approvals.Undertake thorough due diligence of existing portfolios to assess financial health, verify guarantor stability, and identify risks in fluctuating market conditions.Manage distressed assets, negotiating with co-lenders and borrowers to focus on effective restructuring and repayment solutions.Monitor critical dates, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with loan portfolio requirements.What you must bring to this role:A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline, with a solid background in credit principles.Proven leadership in the financial sector with 7+ years of substantial experience.Demonstrated proficiency in managing corporate accounts and conducting detailed credit analysis, with a comprehensive understanding of the banking and corporate environments.Experience in Secured Financing, Liquidity Management, and understanding market dynamics.Excellent skills in networking, strategic communications, negotiation, and driving marketing efforts.Strong aptitude for sales, a proactive approach, and a friendly, engaging demeanour.Expertise in complex data analysis and financial modelling, proficient in using advanced financial software.Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of operating independently and managing high-pressure scenarios effectively.Outcome-focused, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to perform well in a multinational corporate setting.FINRA Series 7 certification is mandatory.Note: Salary will be determined based on relevant experience and skills.Only those who are qualified will be contacted.
