Position Overview: We are seeking an innovative and driven Scientist - Reagent Development to lead the charge in creating high-quality, cutting-edge reagents critical to our mission. This role requires a deep technical expertise in antibody-DNA conjugation and a passion for developing robust manufacturing and quality management systems (QMS) from the ground up. You will play a pivotal role in turning our R&D innovations into customer-facing products, bridging the gap between groundbreaking science and real-world applications. ResponsibilitiesTechnical Excellence:Design and optimize conjugation protocols to achieve unparalleled precision and reproducibility.Lead reagent characterization and validation studies to ensure alignment with R&D and commercial requirements.Troubleshoot complex technical challenges, ensuring consistent reagent performance. Quality Management:Build and implement a robust QMS to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.Establish and maintain quality control (QC) procedures for reagent production, ensuring reliability and scalability.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for reagent manufacturing processes. Process Development:Develop and scale manufacturing processes for antibody-DNA conjugates and related reagents. Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reagent production and QC workflows. Facilitate the seamless transfer of projects from R&D to manufacturing and customer-facing applications. Collaboration:Work cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and business teams to meet project timelines and deliverables. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and excellence. Present technical findings and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders. QualificationsPhD or MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with minimum 2+ years of relevant industry experience. Hands-on experience with antibody conjugation techniques, preferably with DNA or other oligonucleotides. Strong understanding of the priciples of Quality Managment Systems and experience building such systems. Familiarity with ISO13485, etc.Demonstrated expertise in reagent development, manufacturing, and QC processes. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
