Learn more about us (3) LER TechForce: Life | LinkedInWhat you will be doing: Developing test specifications, plans, cases, and suites aligned with requirements, as well as performing MIL (Model in the Loop), SIL (Software in the Loop), and HIL (Hardware in the Loop) testingApplication software controls and performance qualificationEmbedded controls validationElectronic braking system commissioning testing Evaluate various HIL systems and assist in determining which HIL systems is best for electronic brake testingWrite electrical and electronic specifications for electronic control units and test systems (HIL, electro-mechanical benches)Draft harness requirements for ECU and HIL testingTroubleshoot software issues found and create requirements to fixDevelop software or models for testing purposesWhat you'll need to be successful: Essential:College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines. Electro pneumatic braking system (not electro mechanic) experiencePrevious experience in developing test specifications, plans, cases, and suites aligned with requirements, as well as performing MIL (Model in the Loop), SIL (Software in the Loop), and HIL (Hardware in the Loop) testing. Previous experience in designing and maintaining automated regression testing frameworks to streamline the execution of software and systems test plans. Ability to learn and write electrical and electronic specifications for electronic control units and test systems (HIL, electro-mechanical benches). Previous experience in drafting harness requirements for ECU and HIL testing and collaborating with technicians and junior engineers on development. Experience with rapid prototyping and production electronic control units, with a strong grasp of I/O, CAN protocols, power supply needs, and startup, diagnostics, and shutdown routines. Working experience in automotive tools and communication bus systems and protocols (VectorCast, Vector Canape, CANalyzer/CANoe, CANdela Studio, Typhoon, dSPACE, Automation Desk, Synect) Capable of assessing HIL systems based on electrical and electronic requirements (interfaces, sensors, actuators, processors, etc.) and working with Software leads and external vendors for HIL system configuration and commissioning. Experience with at least one major HIL system (such as dSpace, Speedgoat, Typhoon, Vector) for software verification and validation testing. Competent in identifying software bugs during testing and effectively communicating with developers to address them. Foundational experience in software development toolchains (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, C) with the ability to develop software or models for testing purposes. MS office suit solid knowledge is required.
