Job SummaryThe Regulatory Affairs Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring our products comply with all applicable regulations and standards. This position is responsible for managing regulatory matters and executing strategies to maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bodycare product regulations, experience with international markets, and the ability to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes. They will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet all safety and compliance standards while supporting the company's growth and innovation.ResponsibilitiesOversee regulatory compliance for all products, from development to post-market approvalPrepare and submit regulatory documents for domestic and international marketsDevelop and implement regulatory strategies aligned with company goalsCoordinate with internal stakeholders to address changes in regulations, or testing requirementsStay informed about current and upcoming cosmetic regulations, including the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) Manage product registration processes and maintain regulatory files, and testing requirements for claims. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure regulatory complianceConduct safety and exposure assessments for skincare products and ingredientsOversee labeling compliance and review product claimsRequirementsBachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 5-7 years of regulatory affairs experience in the cosmetics or personal care industryIn-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, international cosmetic regulations, and industry standardsExcellent project management and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyRegulatory strategy developmentCompliance managementCross-functional collaborationTechnical writing and documentationAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAdditional RequirementsAbility to operate effectively and efficiently on an independent levelMust be able to work from/visit our NYC Office 1-2 times per monthUp to 20% domestic travelCompany Summary:eos Products is an iconic global beauty brand that has sold nearly a billion lip balms worldwide.
