VP, TalentWe have an exciting new role for an established financial services firm seeking a Global Talent Acquisition leader to revitalize and execute global talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts.Talent Acquisition expertise combined with a track record developing talent bench strength for critical positions are key qualifications.In this hands-on role, you will establish the organization's first specialized focus on talent management, personally managing the end-to-end recruitment process for senior roles, including creating a talent pipeline, sourcing and interviewing candidates, and ensuring an exceptional onboarding experience.Beyond recruitment, you will build on career development strategies"”such as leadership programs, succession planning, and personalized growth initiatives"”to retain and develop top talent.This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping the firm's talent strategy and building a best-in-class recruitment and development function. If you're a hands-on leader eager to drive transformation, we'd love to hear from you!Location: 100% in-person role based in Manhattan (Midtown or Meatpacking District, candidate's choice).ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition Lead and execute the full-cycle recruitment process for VP-level and above positions.Build and maintain a proactive pipeline of high-caliber candidates, leveraging networking and market research to anticipate hiring needs.Partner closely with leadership to forecast future talent needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly.Establish structured recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency and a strong candidate experience.Onboarding and RetentionOversee onboarding initiatives, identifying and addressing any new hire training gaps.Conduct structured check-ins at 3, 6, and 9 months to support integration and career development.Implement retention strategies, including pulse checks and engagement surveys, to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.Talent DevelopmentDesign and implement leadership development programs and personalized career growth initiatives.Develop and manage succession planning and talent pipeline programs to ensure organizational bench strength.Collaborate with managers to create individualized employee development plans.Process Development & Strategic LeadershipBuild and refine recruitment and talent management processes.Develop and maintain key talent metrics, tracking hiring success, retention, and engagement.Partner with leadership to align talent strategy with business objectives.QualificationsExperience: 8-10+ years in talent acquisition, talent management, or HR, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.Industry Background: Experience from top-tier financial services firms preferred.Skillset: Strong blend of hands-on recruitment expertise and strategic talent management capabilities.Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to work closely with senior executives, build trusted relationships, and drive change.Data-Driven Approach: Experience utilizing HR analytics to inform hiring decisions and talent strategies.Process-Oriented: Proven ability to build, implement, and refine recruitment and development programs.Apply:Please e-mail resume as a word document to Jo Treitman, The Acuity Group, Phone 914-763-6077, e-mail jtreitman@
