Construction Foreman

We are searching for a Foreman for high-end residential projects in the Bay Area.We're dedicated to providing competitive pay and benefits, great company culture, opportunities for growth, and interesting and successful projects.As a foreman, you are dedicated to safety, quality, your own growth and experience, and the growth of the team around you. You are a bags-on lead carpenter and the right hand person to the Superintendent on site.As foreman, you'll be on-site as a lead Carpenter and go-to person. Ideally, you're looking to grow into a Superintendent role. You'll be responsible for:Ensuring work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications, and in compliance with local building codes and Cal-OSHAReading plans and performing layoutPartnering with, and lining out, subcontractors and crewPerforming carpentryOpening and/or closing the siteRepresenting the company if the Superintendent is not on sitePartnering with the Superintendent on daily scheduleOverseeing material deliveriesBeing solution-oriented with the crew and subcontractors and vendorsTaking ownership of material use and minimizing wasteMaintaining job site security and safetyTo be successful, you'll need:6+ years of residential carpentry experience; frame to finishAdvanced construction math skillsKnowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in residential and commercial constructionAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsExcellent communication, active listening, and team-building skillsAbility to take and give directionWhat you'll get:Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experienceMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits401(k) retirement savings plan with match available9 paid holidays2 weeks PTOThe compensation range for this position is: $105,000 to $140,000 annually, DOEWho We AreTCB Universal is a boutique placement firm that works with the best custom home builders in the Bay Area.
