Looking for Candidates in The Woodlands, Magnolia, Tomball, Conroe and Spring, TX area. This position will be located in our Magnolia, TX office.POSITION DESCRIPTIONMBA Energy & Industrial, LLC (), located in Magnolia, Texas, north of Houston is immediately seeking an experienced Project Development Manager for assisting the Estimating Team and supporting the Process project team in producing cost estimates, generating drawings, designing facility layouts, generating project schedules, and other tasks related to the job. Will be required to communicate with all project stakeholders: subcontractors, engineers, owner reps, project superintendents, MBA design team, MBA Leadership, Operations Team, etc.Possesses strong written and verbal communications skills and manages time effectively. Shows strong self-motivated tendencies and seeks to anticipate activities and assignments.Responsibilities include:Generate proposals for customersReview RFP/RFQ packagesDesign & Review of facilities for MBA estimating & sales purposesO&G Upstream/Midstream, RNG, LNG, Processing, Manufacturing, Carbon Sequestration, Hydrogen, Etc.Solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliersGenerate Scope of Work for proposals & subcontractorsCommunicate with owner representatives and provide support to Sales Team on potential projectsVisit potential jobs for project scoping and meeting with customersComplete new project hand off meetings to production/operations teamLead Customer Meetings: Take notes and publish meeting minutes for all coordination meetingsConstruction scheduling and project schedule generationCoordinate project meetings with various stakeholdersSupport Project Management team as neededIssue PO's, contact subs, Kick-Off Meetings, communicate with PM's & superintendents, visit job sites, negotiate subcontracts, participate in Process Hazard Analysis meetings, participate in owner/stakeholder meetingsAbility to read construction drawings (including but not limited to):General ArrangementProcess PipingProcess Flow DiagramsProcess & Instrumentation DiagramsElectrical 1-Line DiagramsElectrical DrawingsIsometrics or OrthographicCivil/Grading DrawingsStructuralMEPResearch and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipment.Technical Skills & Area Expertise (Preferred Experience) Hydraulic Modeling, Line Loss CalculationsPumps (Read Pump Curves & size pumps)Centrifugal, Positive Displacement, ANSI, H-pumps, etc.Process Piping Knowledge (ASME B31.3)Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, HDPE, Composite MaterialsWelding Procedures & General Welding KnowledgePressure Vessels & Tank SizingConcrete & Civil ConstructionInterpret Specs, Site Grading, Roads, Rebar, Concrete ConstructionElectrical Systems (Read 1-Lines, size equipment)VFD's, Starters, Switchgear Sizing, MCC, Cable/Conduit Schedules, Classified Area Designation, Etc.Natural Gas, Produced Water, & Crude Oil System Operation/Design ExperienceCompressors, Production Wells, VRU's, Vessel Separation, Coolers/Exchangers, Heater Treaters, Pumps, LACT SystemsAutomation & InstrumentationReading Control Narratives, P&ID's, Process Instrumentation Implementation, PLC, Etc.QualificationsBachelor's degree required, focus in engineering preferred 6+ years experience working on Process/Facility projects (Required)Construction scheduling: 2+ years (Required)General knowledge of construction principles/practicesConstruction or Engineering: 6-8+ years (Preferred)AutoCAD, Plant3D, 3D/2D CAD, drafting/design experience (Preferred)Additional Requirements/Details:Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environmentDetail oriented and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task & work on multiple projects at onceTravel required: 10%Benefits include paid time off, holidays, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K match.
