A Manhattan-based organization and respected leader in community-focused services is seeking an LMSW for Team Lead of their Young Adults ACT Team in Manhattan. Clinical Supervisory Hours AvailableResponsibilitiesCase Management and Client SupportManage a small caseload of clients.Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.Facilitate client access to benefits, psychiatric care, medication management, rehabilitation, and other essential services.Connect clients with community-based resources, including health, mental health, and substance use services.Accompany clients to appointments when necessary.Communicate with clients' families to provide updates on progress and address needs.Act as a liaison between clients and other service providers.Keep accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with program policies.Visit clients in diverse settings, including residential facilities, public spaces, and other locations, while advocating on their behalf.Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of standard working hours.Supervisory and Management ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical supervision to staff and interns, evaluate their performance, and guide their client work.Teach advocacy and intervention techniques to staff.Support the recruitment process for ACT team members.Assist with program administration, including managing staff schedules and ensuring compliance with training requirements.Ensure staff are appropriately trained to meet ACT and regulatory standards.Act as the Program Director in their absence.Team Collaboration and ParticipationAttend team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.Participate in supervision sessions to discuss client progress and refine strategies.Work collaboratively with other ACT team members within a shared case management framework.Policy and ComplianceAssist in the creation and enforcement of policies and procedures that align with organizational standards and those of regulatory bodies such as the New York State Office of Mental Health and Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Social Work (LMSW) with licensure required.SIFI (Supervisor in Field Instruction) certification is strongly preferred.
