This is a Non-Exempt position.We are currently seeking a full-time Professional Assistant for the Shared Services Department, reporting to the Manager of Administration. This role requires on-site presence in the NYC office, with work-from-home requests subject to approval by the Manager of Administration.Responsibilities:• Type, proofread and format all types of correspondence and Tax Arrangement Letters for the Firm.• Prepare FedEx and Certified mailings when requested.• Save all returns, reports, documents and forms to the Firm's document managing system (GFR), and route workflows when appropriate.• Create barcode pages for source documents to be scanned into GFR.• Process and finalize monthly billings and retainers to clients.• Provide backup to Tax Processing and E-File teams as necessary:• Experience with GFR, CCH Axcess, and SafeSend is preferred for technical support.• Business or Business Casual attire is required at all times.Qualifications:Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of position. Maintains the ability to use grammatical, spelling and punctuation skills effectively. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
